Egg of Columbus - A matter of photography

This post is both in english and italian, for people who just don’t know both languages.

Recently, as I become involved in photography in a less amatorial manner, I decided to buy a reflex camera, with a good compromise between price and performances.

Now, that’s the time of the choice (more and less). And i really can’t decide between two cameras, one Canon and the other one Nikon.

  • Canon EOS 400D
  • Nikon D40X
Comparing these two different models, the only clear difference is that the Canon has the ”EOS Integrated Cleaning System featuring a Self Cleaning Sensor Unit" and the price: the Nikon is a bit cheaper ( 90 € = 125 $, is the difference between the two cameras), due to the 90th anniversary.

So, i’m really doubtful. How much is this “Cleaning System” worth? Without it, will be difficult to manage a reflex camera for a non-professional photographer as I am? Doubtful, definitely doubtful.
